BIOGRAPHY
Ingo Hoffmann: an artist on the move
Born in the southern German town of Aalen, Ingo Hoffmann has been driven by a passion for art in all its forms since childhood.
He moved to the South of France at a very young age and has lived there for over 45 years. It's here that he draws his inspiration, as a highly sensitive observer of the world around him, whether it's the world on his doorstep or current global issues.
His work is multi-faceted and multi-disciplinary.
Each project that drives him determines his choice of medium: sculpture, painting, performance.
Community involvement :
Ingo Hoffmann believes in the power of the collective and in mobilizing action on issues close to his heart.
He was actively involved in the Boulbon à l'Encre Sympathique cultural association, where he was able to satisfy his commitment to promoting art for everyone, everywhere, and his attachment to societal causes. For a decade, he contributed to the creation and organization of exhibitions and artistic and cultural events in the public space.
