SCULPTURES

Phasmatic Sculptures

- Exhibition in the park of the La Bastide de Boulbon hotel

Wood - glass beads - rebar. Approx. 2 m x 2 m

Fascinated by the little insects that are stick insects, and by their ingenious mimicry that makes them undetectable, I pay homage to them in this series of sculptures.
The use of salvaged materials such as almond, plane and pine trunks gives life to almost fantastical creatures.

Terracotta

Bodies embracing

I sculpt mainly on recycled stone, which often comes from rubbish dumps. And I prefer stone from the south of France.

The Arctic Parade

Series of 30 sculptures. Reclaimed metal and wood, silicone, gold leaf. Between 20 cm and 40 cm

Rusted or gnawed materials are at the origin of this work, which introduces the notion of defying time.
Working with silicone and gold leaf, the objects take on a distinct individuality, as I accompany them in their process of independence. Grouped together in an installation, they form a phantasmagorical parade.

face au temps.
Travaillés au silicone et à la feuille d’or, les objets acquièrent une individualité bien affirmée, je les accompagne dans leur processus d’indépendance. Regroupés dans une installation, ils forment un défilé fantasmagorique.
