Observation Trace Sampling Can some uses of plastic be reduced or replaced? PLASTOMG is an artistic research project developed in Provence around agricultural plastics. Starting from traces observed in the field, the project explores a paradox: a material used for a short period can persist for decades, fragment, and disappear from sight without disappearing from the environment. Visiting the waste recovery facility in Vedène was a shock. A silent shock, without apparent violence — but heavy with truth.
