NEW PROJECT
Artist's book
The project fuses sculpture, performance and video to create an immersive experience. The raw clay sculptures, exhibited in the open air on the beaches of Piemanson and Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, propose an encounter between art and nature. Confronted with the natural elements, wind and water, these earthen creatures embark on a journey of transformation, capturing the essence of life and death. Each action becomes a performance, exploring the relationship between man and his environment. The videos bear witness to the transience of art and the ephemeral beauty of nature.
"Les Terres à la Mer" offer a sensory and emotional experience. They invite us to contemplate the transient beauty of our ever-changing world, and to feel its fragility. They evoke in a sensitive way the alarming imbalances of today's world that drive so many human beings to risk their lives by crossing the seas.
